How Pimpama Contines to Grow

The Australian Bureau of Statistics has declared Pimpama as the fastest -growing region outside a capital city with a whopping population increase of 20 per cent in 2014-15. In comparison, Brisbane’s population only grew 1.6 per cent the same year, Melbourne grew 2.1 per cent whilst Sydney’s population only grew 1.7 per cent.
Pimpama, an old farming land has become a popular choice for young families and it’s no surprise. It conveniently sits between Brisbane and Surfer’s Paradise and quite close to the M1. There is also a lot of choices for primary and secondary schools in the area which is convenient for families to establish homes. New facilities like shopping centres are already in place have recently be put in places with many others including a sports centre are underway.
Other areas that experienced fast growth were Mango Hills with a 9.5 per cent increase in population, Coomera at 6.7 per cent, and Upper Coomera-Willow Vale at 5.1 per cent. By far, the population in most Queensland areas grew at one percent, but with the outer fringes of its cities seeing higher growth.
