Annastacia Palaszczuk - Labor Party - Queensland

Today, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk pledged to increase the Building Future Schools for Queensland fund from $500 to $808 million to build seven secondary schools, one special school and two primary schools in Queensland.

The government is determined to provide local students the best education possible to give children a great start in life.

If re-elected, Labor has promised to build a new school in Pimpama by 2020. According to Labor candidate, Christopher Johnson, a $60 million budget will be allotted for the said project. The school will include state-of-the-art facilities such as innovation hubs and robotics laboratories.
