March 2018 Gold Coast Rental Vacancy Rates
Vacancy rates across the Gold Coast are relatively low in March 2018 with a few post codes recording well under 1%.
In contrast the postcodes of 4209 covers Pimpama, Upper Coomera and Coomera is 2.18% which is primarily driven by massive amounts of newly constructed properties entering the rental pool every single week.
To put this in perspective the 4209 postcode holds nearly 30% of all rental houses across the Gold Coast and over 13% of the townhouses.
Two other postcodes with higher than average rental vacancy rates at the moment is 4212 (Boykambil, Helensvale, Hope Island, Monterey Keys, Sanctuary Cove, Santa Barbara) and 4225 (Bilinga, Coolangatta, Greenmount, Kirra, Rainbow Bay). The vacancy rate in 4212 is well improved from levels of around 3.45% just 3 months ago down to its current 2.45% but the southernmost postcode of 4225 is the exact opposite and was just 1.03% at the same time but today has climbed to 4.26%
